20-year-old man shot numerous times and is seriously wounded in Chicago, Illinois on August 18, 2024. Chicago police officers responded to a shot spotter call, Sunday evening at approximately 9:27 p.m. on the 11900 block of S. Prairie Avenue where they found a 20-year-old male victim who had been shot multiple times about the body. The victim did not give responding officers any further details regarding the incident, the victim is in serious condition at the hospital.

28-year-old male shot numerous times and killed in Chicago, Illinois on August 18, 2024. Sunday afternoon at approximately 3:00 pm on the 3900 block of W. Madison Street, police officers responded to a shots fired call and located a 28-year-old male victim with multiple gunshot wounds lying on the ground unresponsive. The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition where he was pronounced dead a short time later. A handgun was recovered on scene and there are no suspects in custody.

One teenager is dead and another teenager is injured after both teens were shot at while on a porch in Chicago, Illinois on August 17, 2024. At approximately 9:20 p.m., Saturday evening on the 6700 block of S. Loomis Blvd, a 17-year-old male and a 16-year-old male were on a porch when an unidentified suspect(s) approached and fired gunshots before fleeing. The 17-year-old sustained a gunshot wound to the stomach and back, he was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The 16-year-old male sustained a gunshot wound to the chest, was treated on scene and transported to the hospital in good condition. There are no suspects in custody.
