Wednesday morning, Chicago police are investigating an overnight incident where an unknown female was found shot at the scene of a traffic collision in Chicago, Illinois on Tuesday evening, June 11, 2024; the female was pronounced dead. At approximately 11:01 p.m., Tuesday evening on the 800 block of W. Garfield, Chicago police officers responding to a traffic crash in the area discovered an unknown female adult laying on the street unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the upper back, she was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. The circumstances are unknown at this time and there are no suspects in custody.

2700 block of S. Komensky Avenue, a 14-year-old male victim was on the sidewalk when an unknown male suspect was observed by a witness firing shots in the victims direction before fleeing southbound. The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the body and was transported to the hospital in critical condition. No suspects are in custody.
Police presence following a reported fence jumper at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) building in Chicago, Illinois at the FBI building located at 2111 W. Roosevelt Rd. in Chicago, Illinois due to a reported fence jumper. An FBI Chicago spokesperson tells me that no injuries were reported and that a suspect is in custody.
