1200 block of W. 73rd Pl., Chicago police located a 22-year-old female victim sustained at least one gunshot wound to the torso while standing outside. The victim was transported to the hospital where she is listed in critical condition. A witness told officers that the suspect may have been traveling in a vehicle. There are no suspects in custody.

3900 block of W. 31st St., Chicago police found a 23-year-old male who sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the body. The 23-year-old male victim was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The second victim, a 35-year-old male sustained one gunshot wound to the abdomen and was transported to the hospital in critical condition. A weapon was recovered on scene. Preliminary investigation indicates that the 23-year-old male deceased victim may have exchanged gunfire with an unidentified suspect who fled the scene on foot. There are no suspects in custody. Several evidence markers were placed at the crime scene.
