Shooting at Cinco de Mayo Parade in Chicago, Illinois. Two gangs were reportedly shooting at each other at the Cinco de Mayo Parade, Sunday in the area of S Washtenaw Av and W Cermak Rd. Miraculously, there were no injuries reported and the Cinco de Mayo Parade was cancelled.

Death investigation after a body was found in a house in Chicago, Illinois on May 4, 2024. Chicago police say that at approximately 12:44 p.m. Saturday afternoon an unknown individual was discovered dead inside of a residence on the 9800 block of S. Hoxie.
