Five people were shot, two fatally, Thursday morning on Chicago's South Side
7100 block of S. Woodlawn Avenue in Chicago, IL Police officers responded to a technology alert and additional calls of shots fired. When officers arrived on scene there were 5 victims who sustained gunshot wounds and those officers immediately rendered first aid to the victims. Three children, ages 5, 7, and 8 are all in critical condition at Comer Children’s Hospital. A 42-year-old female victim was pronounced on scene and a 22-year-old female victim was pronounced at the University of Chicago Hospital.
