33-year-old male bit several times by a dog and found dead in an apartment on the 5500 block of West Quincy Street in Chicago, Illinois. 33-year-old male was discovered unresponsive in the vestibule of a two-flat apartment building. The victim had several dog bites on his body and several dogs were located in the apartment. The victim was pronounced dead and the exact cause of death is under investigation. Animal control was on scene along with Chicago police.

Six people injured, one critically after a stolen vehicle which was being monitored by police, lost control after driving at a high rate of speed and struck another vehicle in Chicago, Illinois on August 23, 2024. Friday evening at approximately 10:35 p.m. on the 7600 block of W. Touhy Avenue, a driver with three passengers in a stolen vehicle was being monitored by police helicopter going northbound on W. Touhy Avenue at a high rate of speed lost control and struck another vehicle with a female driving victim. The 21-year-old male driver of the vehicle sustained a leg and spine injury and was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Three other females and one male were taken to the hospitas for minor injuries. Officers recovered a handgun at the scene.
