A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash in the Ashburn neighborhood Thursday night, Chicago police said
7700 block of S. Prairie Avenue, Chicago police discovered a 31-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to the head and he was pronounced dead on scene. Preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was traveling as a passenger in a vehicle when he was shot by an unidentified suspect who was traveling in a white vehicle. The victim exited the vehicle and attempted to flee the scene on foot. A 22-year-old male victim who was outside walking near the shooting incident sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the arm and was transported to the hospital where he is in critical condition. There are no suspects in custody.
7400 block of S. Bennett Avenue, Chicago police responded to a residence where a 50-year-old male victim was found inside with multiple gunshot wounds to the body. The victim was pronounced dead on scene and a weapon was recovered according to authorities.
Plain Township. Per Stark County Sheriff Maier a child was shot inside a room at the Knights Inn. They do have person of interest they would like to talk with but no one in custody. The condition of the child is unknown. Detectives spent hours here
Two people dead in a shooting at 31st Street Harbor in Chicago, Illinois on June 21, 2024. At approximately 3:19 a.m., Friday morning, Chicago police responded to the 3100 block of S. lake Shore Drive, located a crime scene at the 31st Street Harbor at 3155 S. Lake Shore Drive and discovered that a 23-year-old male and a 22-year-old female both sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the body and both the male and female were pronounced dead on the scene. Preliminary investigation indicates that the male victim was exchanging gunfire with multiple individuals who were on the scene. Multiple males were taken in to custody according to authorities.
