33-year-old man shot multiple times in the face and arms and pronounced dead in Chicago, Illinois on August 19, 2024. At approximately 10:23 pm, Monday evening on the 4800 block of W. West End Avenue, Chicago police officers responded to a ShotSpotter call and found a 33-year-old man on the ground, he had been shot multiple times in the face and arms. The victim was treated on scene, transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. There are no suspects in custody. On the first night of the 2024 Democratic National Convention, several homicides were reported in the City of Chicago, the host city of the DNC.

25-year-old male victim shot numerous times and killed on the 8200 block of S. South Shore Drive in Chicago, Illinois on August 19, 2024. At approximately 12:00 pm, Monday afternoon Chicago police officers responding to a check the well being call from family members found the 25-year-old male victim unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head and multiple gunshot wounds to the body and he was pronounced dead on scene. There are no suspects in custody.

Chicago police officers responded to a shot spotter call, Sunday evening at approximately 9:27 p.m. on the 11900 block of S. Prairie Avenue where they found a 20-year-old male victim who had been shot multiple times about the body. The victim did not give responding officers any further details regarding the incident, the victim is in serious condition at the hospital.
