17-year-old male shot multiple times in the head and pronounced dead in Chicago, Illinois on August 14, 2024. At approximately 6:14 p.m., Wednesday evening on the 3400 block of W. Franklin Blvd. a 17-year-old male victim standing near the sidewalk was approached by an unknown vehicle. Three male suspects exited the vehicle. At least one male suspect showed a firearm and fired shots at the victim. The 17-year-old male victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the head and was transported to the hospital initially listed in critical condition and then later was pronounced dead. There are no suspects in custody.
