1 year agoLaSalle Peru Fire crews continue to fight a 4 alarm fire at Carus Chemical. Massive amount of smoke pouring out of the plant buildings. Explosions reported earlier. No word on whether anyone was injured. Carus makes products that clean the air, water, & soil

1 year agoThe CFD has responded to a fire at a large multi-unit residential building at Byron & California. The fire was quickly extinguished, however, multiple smoke inhalation patients have been reported.
