10700 block of S. Ewing, a 67-year-old male food vendor was approached by two unknown suspects who produced handguns and fired shots. The victim was struck in the leg and was transported to the hospital initially reported in good condition. Both suspects ran into a residence nearby. SWAT was called to the scene, no suspects are in custody and the situation is ongoing.

Wednesday morning, Chicago police are investigating an overnight incident where an unknown female was found shot at the scene of a traffic collision in Chicago, Illinois on Tuesday evening, June 11, 2024; the female was pronounced dead.
