200 block of W. Pershing Avenue, a 15-year-old female victim was shot in the leg and was listed in good condition at the hospital. A 15-year-old male was shot in the upper back, and is in good condition at the hospital. A 17-year-old female victim sustained a gunshot wound to the left arm and was transported to the hospital in good condition. A witness told officers that the three teenage victims were standing outside when an unidentified vehicle stopped, and an unknown suspect exited the vehicle, fired shots striking the three victims. The suspect returned to the vehicle and fled the scene. There are no suspects in custody.

There is a multi-vehicle accident in the 4300 block of Charles St. Injuries are reported. The area is temporarily blocked off in all directions.

Man injured in North Lawndale shooting

24-year-old male victim shot multiple times and in critical condition in Chicago, Illinois on June 23, 2024. At approximately 9:15 p.m., Sunday evening on the 1200 block of S. Central Park Avenue, Chicago police officers discovered a 24-year-old male victim who was transported to the hospital in critical condition with multiple gunshot wounds to the body. There are no suspects in custody.

2800 block of S. Kedzie Avenue, a 31-year-old male self-transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound in the foot and was listed in good condition. A 23-year-old male who is a CCL holder told police officers that there was an exchange of gunfire between him and unknown suspects. Detectives are questioning the CCL holder at this time to determine whether or not he recklessly discharged his weapon. Reporters in the area who were covering an unrelated triple shooting in the same area, ducked and covered while shots rang out from the incident.

29-year-old male victim shot in Chicago, Illinois on June 23, 2024. At approximately 6:45 p.m., Sunday evening on the 5600 block of S. Laflin Street, Chicago police officers responded to a gunshot detection technology alert and found a 29-year-old male victim with one gunshot wound in the leg and one gunshot wound in the groin area. The victim was transported to the hospital in fair condition. There are no suspects in custody.

Two people found dead inside of a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds throughout the body in Chicago, Illinois on June 23, 2024. At approximately 8:37 a.m., Sunday morning on the 12300 block of S. Halsted Street, two unknown adult males were discovered unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds inside of a Jeep Cherokee. The males appear to have multiple gunshot wounds throughout the body and were pronounced dead on the scene. Circumstances surrounding the shooting are being investigated by Chicago police.

29-year-old male victim shot multiple times and in critical condition in Chicago, Illinois on the 3500 block of W. 73rd Street, a 29-year-old male victim was near the sidewalk when he was approached by two unknown male suspects who showed handguns and fired shots. The victim was struck in the back, buttocks, and arm, and was transported to the hospital and was initially reported in critical condition. There are no suspects in custody.
