39-year-old male shot to the head and in critical condition in Chicago, on the 1900 block of W. 21st St., a 39-year-old male victim was driving eastbound in the alley at the above location when an unknown suspect opened fire. The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the head and then struck a pole. The victim was transported to the hospital and is in critical condition. No other injuries were reported and there are no suspects in custody at this time. The victims vehicle was seen at the crime scene with blood on it and shattered glass.
