A person fired shots at a crowded bar in Chicago’s Wicker Park Thursday night. The shooting happened around 10 p.m. outside The Chop Shop, located at 2033 W North Ave., near Milwaukee and Damen.
A 15-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting early Friday in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side. The boy was walking on a sidewalk at 2:49 a.m. in the 3300 block of West 25th Street when a gray minivan pulled up and two males jumped out, according to Chicago Police. One of the males then pulled out a handgun and fired shots, striking the boy in his left leg.
A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Thursday evening in west suburban Aurora. At 6:07 p.m., the man was driving south on Heggs Road just north of U.S Route 30 when his SUV crossed into the northbound lanes and struck a tree, according to Aurora police.
A man was shot by an offender who attempted to rob him Thursday evening in the Belmont Central neighborhood on the Northwest Side. The 18-year-old man was sitting in his car about 9:45 p.m. in the 3100 block of North Menard Avenue when someone walked up and demanded his money, Chicago Police said.
A woman was found stabbed to death in the East Chatham neighborhood home she shared with a man who jumped to his death from the Chicago Skyway into the Calumet River Monday afternoon. Curtis Bradley, 24, jumped into the Calumet River from the Skyway about 3 p.m. following a traffic crash on the toll bridge near 97th Street, according to the Chicago Police and Fire departments and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.
A 16-year-old boy was shot Tuesday afternoon in the Logan Square neighborhood on the Northwest Side. The boy was shot in the leg at 1:22 p.m. in the 1800 block of North Francisco, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.
An 18-year-old man was shot dead Tuesday evening in the West Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side, according to Chicago Police. Manuel Ramirez was sitting in a vehicle about 7:30 p.m. when he was shot multiple times in the 4200 block of West Hirsch, police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office said. He got out of his vehicle and collapsed to the ground.

A 30-year-old man was wounded in a drive-by shooting Wednesday night on the Near West Side. He was walking down the street about 8:15 p.m. in the 700 block of South Aberdeen when an unknown person fired shots from a dark-colored vehicle, according to Chicago Police.
A Villa Park man was fatally struck by a CTA Blue Line train Wednesday night near the UIC-Halsted station. Alec Tatum, 20, jumped in front of the train about 9:30 p.m. near the station in the 400 block of South Halsted, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The death of an Oak Park man who was assaulted earlier this month in the West Town neighborhood has been ruled a homicide. Emergency crews responded at 3:29 a.m. Jan. 14 to a call of a person who had fallen at a nightclub in the 1100 block of North Elston, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.
No one was injured when a fire broke out early Wednesday at Roberto Clemente High School in the West Side Humboldt Park neighborhood. Fire crews responded about 2:15 a.m. to a fire in an electrical panel in a sub-basement at the school, 1147 N. A Bloomington drug dealer has been sentenced to 22 years in prison. McLean County Judge Judge Robert Freitag on Monday issued the sentence for Andrew Pinkston, 47, stemming from his June 2016 arrest for selling cocaine.

A male was found shot Sunday night on the East Bluff, but his injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, police said. Officers were called at 8:29 to a shooting in the area of West MacQueen Avenue and Broadway Street, according to Peoria police spokeswoman Amy Dotson.
A man was charged Friday with a pair of armed robberies last month in the West Town and East Garfield Park neighborhoods. Tyree Graham, 19, of the Humboldt Park neighborhood, was charged with two felony counts of robbery, Chicago Police said. Graham was positively identified in photo arrays as the offender in a pair of recent armed robberies, police said.
Two people were killed in a fire early Monday in west suburban Addison. Crews responded at 2:27 a.m. to a report from a bystander of a fire in the 700 block of South Ellsworth and found the blaze in a one-story, single-family home, according to a statement from the Addison Fire Protection District.

An 18-year-old woman was shot and critically wounded Sunday evening in the Bridgeport neighborhood on the South Side. The woman was shot multiple times at 6:44 p.m. in the 1200 block of West 33rd Street, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police. She was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.

The men, ages 19 and 25, were walking about 3 a.m. when a black vehicle drove by in the 6000 block of West Belden and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police. The younger man was shot in the head and taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, while the older man was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood with a gunshot wound to the back, police said. Both were pronounced dead.
