A man was shot early Sunday while driving in the Arcadia Terrace neighborhood on the Northwest Side. The 27-year-old was driving about 4:30 p.m. when a red car with tinted windows pulled up next to him in the 5800 block of North Western and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago Police.
A man was shot and another man was stabbed early Sunday in a Far South Side party in the Fernwood neighborhood. They were wounded about 4:15 p.m. at the party in the 10500 block of South Wentworth, according to Chicago Police
The men, ages 19 and 25, were walking about 3 a.m. when a black vehicle drove by in the 6000 block of West Belden and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police. The younger man was shot in the head and taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, while the older man was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood with a gunshot wound to the back, police said. Both were pronounced dead.
A man was shot in the knee early Sunday in the Heart of Italy neighborhood on the South Side. The 28-year-old was walking about 2:45 a.m. in the 2300 block of South Oakley when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.
The O’Fallon Illinois Police is investigating a domestic battery case where a victim has suffered possible life-threatening injuries. The incident happened Saturday in the 1700 block of West Highway 50.

Two people were killed Thursday morning in Chicago's first deadly shooting in six days. Ronald E. Robinson, 36, and Jordasch W. Robinson, 27, were sitting in a car in the 6600-block of South Evans Avenue in the city's West Woodlawn neighborhood around 2:50 a.m. That's when police said someone walked up to the vehicle and opened fire.

An El Paso woman was killed on Monday in a crash between a car and semi tractor-trailer on Interstate 39 in Hudson. McLean County Coroner Kathy Davis said the crash happened in the southbound lanes of the interstate on Monday morning but few details have been given. Davis said her office was called to the Advocate BroMenn Medical Center emergency room.
A man was found dead with cuts all over his body Sunday morning in the West Pullman neighborhood on the South Side. Kendrick L. Williams, 26, was found unresponsive outside at 10:37 a.m. in the 11900 block of South Harvard, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Two are in custody in connection to a police-involved shooting that happened Monday afternoon in Chicago's Burnside neighborhood, police said. At around 3 p.m., shots were fired at police near East 90th Street and South Ellis Avenue, police said.
A 23-year-old man was shot early Tuesday in the University Village neighborhood on the Near West Side. He was walking on the sidewalk at 12:57 a.m. in the 1500 block of South Morgan when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police. He had been shot in the chest.
