Chicago: Two men were shot in separate incidents Tuesday afternoon into the evening. In the first case, a 28-year-old man was shot in the finger around 4:25 p.m. in the 2400 block of West 46th Street in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side, police said.
The Henderson County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of a deceased male on Tuesday, October 10. According to Henderson County Sheriff Steven Haynes, the man was found at a home in the 1000th block of Township Road in Carman, Ill. Once on scene, deputies identified the man as Rex A. Mynatt, 87, of Carman.

Chicago: A 23-year-old woman was wounded in an Englewood neighborhood shooting late Sunday on the South Side. About 11:20 p.m., she was was standing on a front porch with a male in the 6500 block of South Sangamon when three suspects began beating the male, according to Chicago Police.

Geneva: teen accused of driving drunk and causing a crash that left a teen passenger in his SUV dead now faces reckless homicide and DUI charges, authorities said. Raphael Peruzza, of the 2000 block of Eldorado Drive in Geneva, is being held at the Kane County Jail on a $2 million bond following the Friday crash. The single-vehicle collision occurred at about 2:15 a.m. when Peruzza was driving his Jeep Grand Cherokee south on Burr Road, according to a news release from the Kane County Sheriff's Office.
Two men where shot and seriously wounded Saturday night while running away from robbers in the East Chatham neighborhood on the South Side. Four people walked up to the men, ages 29 and 30, at 12:54 a.m. and announced a robbery in the 7900 block of South Drexel, according to Chicago Police.
