One person was killed and another seriously injured when a car crashed into a home in the South Chicago neighborhood early Monday. The two-vehicle collision took place around 3:30 a.m. in the 8300 block of South Yates Blvd, according to the Chicago Fire Department
A man was charged with a felony Sunday after he allegedly ran onto Wrigley Field during a game. Joseph W. Confer, 24, was charged with criminal trespass to a place of public amusement, according to Chicago police.

A man was critically wounded early Sunday in a shooting in the West Garfield Park neighborhood. About 1 a.m., the 32-year-old was outside in the 1000 block of North Kildare when two people stepped out of a vehicle and shot him, according to Chicago Police.
A 25-year-old man was shot early Sunday in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side. The shooting happened about 3 a.m. in the first block of 110th Street, according to Chicago Police. The man showed up at Roseland Hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg. His condition had stabilized.
